Dog Training

My training sessions centers around the family, their needs, and their goals to create a positive, safe and loving environment for everyone. I help the dogs and people communicate and understand each other. This builds trust and a strong bond between the owner and their four-legged family.

It is important to know that I will go at the pace of your dog(s). Going at the dog(s) pace builds a foundation of learning. Once that foundation is built, training will not only be fun but is more likely to succeed. There are no guarantees with dog training, but the pet owners' consistency will make the world of a difference.

I commit to following management and positive reinforcement techniques. I want your dog to want to learn and train. My goal is to encourage a positive relationship between you and your dog(s) with great communication from both sides. I want the whole process to be fun and engaging!

The first lesson will be obtaining as much information as possible on the situation, history, and goals for the training. I want to get to know you, your family, and your dog(s). We then find the most important behaviors everyone wants to work on, and go from there. The following behaviors/cues are only some of what I work on:

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Stay

  • Reactivity

  • Handling

  • Service Dog Work
